You’re Allowed to Want More: Manifesting Through the Mess in 2027

You can be grateful for what you have and still be tired of barely getting by.

You can appreciate your job and want work that pays better. You can enjoy your independence and want meaningful love. You can recognize how far you’ve come and still want your next chapter to feel different.

Gratitude and ambition can share a page.

Yet, when it’s time to name what we want, many of us immediately start negotiating it down.

I want more money, but I don’t want to sound materialistic.

I want recognition, but maybe that’s egotistical.

I want a different life, but shouldn’t I appreciate this one?

Before we’ve taken a single step, we’re already defending the desire.

What would happen if we gave ourselves a little room to want it first?

Permission to want what you want

One idea I keep returning to is this: you don’t have to abandon your values to pursue a fuller life.

You can be generous and financially comfortable. You can succeed and remain considerate. You can want more without treating everything you already have as inadequate.

Giving yourself permission means letting a desire exist long enough to understand it.

What does financial freedom mean in your everyday life? Fewer anxious calculations at the grocery store? Time with your family? The freedom to make a decision without money making it for you?

What does success look like when nobody is watching?

These questions take manifestation somewhere personal. They help you move beyond an attractive image and toward something you can recognize, consider, and work toward.

Gratitude is not a legally binding agreement to stay exactly where you are.

When you’re trying and nothing seems to be happening

This is where the conversation gets harder.

It’s easy to feel hopeful when something is working. It takes more effort when you’ve been showing up, putting your ideas out there, and waiting for a result that hasn’t arrived.

Eventually, “This hasn’t worked yet” can start sounding like “This will never work.”

A journal gives you somewhere to examine that conclusion before it becomes the only story you tell yourself.

What have you tried? What have you learned? What might need adjusting? What support or information would make the next step easier?

You can acknowledge disappointment and still leave room for another approach.

You also don’t have to interpret every setback as a failure of belief. Money, time, access, circumstances, and other people affect outcomes. Having a difficult week doesn’t mean you sent the universe the wrong fucking signal.

Sometimes you need rest. Sometimes you need better information. Sometimes you need to change the plan.

Reflection can help you work out which.

A year of guidance you can return to

I created Manifesting Through the Mess, a 2027 printable manifestation journal to offer a place for that ongoing conversation.

From January through December, it brings together manifestation, 2027 retrogrades, zodiac themes, and chakra symbolism in a weekly format.

Across 53 dated weekly spreads, a celestial educational page sits alongside a cream writing page. The readings give you something to explore; the questions bring your attention back to your own intentions, choices, and everyday life.

What are you calling into your life?

Why does it matter now?

Do you want that exact thing, or the feeling you imagine it will give you?

What is one step within your control?

You may answer differently as the year unfolds. That is part of the value of returning to the page. You get to notice when a desire deepens, when a priority changes, or when something you once wanted no longer fits.

The astrology and chakra themes offer starting points for reflection. Your circumstances and judgment still belong in the conversation.

Mercury did not write your priorities. You can edit them.

Your actions deserve a place beside your intentions

Visualization can help you explore what you’re working toward. Try imagining an ordinary day with the thing you desire.

Beyond the celebration, what would you be doing?

Managing your income? Sharing your work? Making clearer decisions? Maintaining a boundary? Giving yourself enough time to rest?

Look for one part you can practice now.

An intention becomes more useful when you connect it to an action that fits your current resources. That might mean asking a question, learning something, reviewing an approach, or setting aside time you keep giving away.

You don’t need every step mapped out before taking one.

And if the step doesn’t bring the result you hoped for, you have something to learn from and reconsider.

Say it. Then show up. A Mercury reflection page and journal cover showcasing 65 affirmationsExplore the journal on Etsy ↗

For the weeks when you don’t feel inspirational

A full year includes ordinary weeks, exciting weeks, and weeks you would prefer to return unopened.

Alongside the weekly spreads, the journal includes 12 monthly encouragement spreads, 65 affirmations, a visual introduction to the seven chakras, and a 2027 directory and retrograde guide.

The encouragement pages give you a gentler place to pause when everything feels like too much. The sarcastic footnotes leave room for a sense of humor.

You can take your intentions seriously without becoming solemn about every inconvenience.

You can also open your journal feeling tired, skeptical, or irritated. Honesty gives you something useful to work with.

Start with these four sentences

If you’re unsure where to begin, try completing these:

I want…

Write the desire before explaining why you should be allowed to have it.

I hesitate because…

Notice the fear, guilt, or uncertainty attached to it.

I give myself permission to…

Consider what pursuing it could look like while keeping your values.

This week, I can…

Choose a realistic action within your control.

Your answers don’t need to sound profound. They need to give you somewhere to begin.

Make room for what matters in 2027

Manifesting Through the Mess is a 138 page printable digital journal, supplied in US Letter, A4, and A5, with a separate printing guide.

It’s a full year of celestial learning, guided reflection, affirmations, and practical questions, with enough humor to acknowledge that personal growth occasionally has terrible timing.

If that sounds like the kind of company you’d like on the page, explore the 2027 Manifesting Through the Mess journal here.

You’re allowed to want more.

You’re allowed to adjust your approach.

And you’re allowed to be a little fed up while building something that matters to you.
